We changed our work schedules to be here for Safelite repair man 8am-12noon with two cars for windshield service. Now the repairman calls says he is over booked and can’t make it until probably 6pm tonight.

Now the repairman calls back to say the windshield for my truck broke he needs to reschedule both cars for another day.

What kind of company is these people running ?!

I will contact my insurance company to be sure they do not recommend Safelite to anyone.

Sorry service !!! At our cost.

Kelvin, when you bang out 3-4 windshields in an hour, do you activate the frit band, clean out the pinchweld of any dirt and debris, prime the pinchweld to prevent oxidation of the customer's vehicle, and make sure to run an seamless bead? I don't think you could. To accomplish one windshield in 10 minutes you would need to *** out the old one, barely clean or ready the new part (assuming that you do so) and stuff the cowl with no regard to the rest of the customer's car or to the level of safety missing in the part you just installed.

We take pride in the service that we provide, and our technicians are extensively trained and certified. Our technicians are trained not for volume, but for safety.

dont lie to the man why dont you tell him the truth. your company has crappy service, and 95% of your technicians have no clue what they are doing. i can do 3-4 windshields in the time that they do one. they waste time all day long and have no hope of ever completing a job on time. im sorry sir for them wasting your time.

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your negative experience with us. Due to inclimate weather around the country, our volume is heavier than is customary for this time of year. Many of our technicians are working very long hours to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. That is clearly no excuse; I simply wanted to make you aware.

We are a customer-delight-based company and would like the opportunity to turn your experience with us around. We are working to find your contact information. In the meantime, if you would like to reach us directly, please call 800-835-2257.

Thank you,

Jennifer
